The Thanksgiving Song

I know Adam Sandler isn't really a Musician, but he is a really good Comedian and I thought since it was Thanksgiving I should put up a Thanksgiving song. So here's Adam Sandler's Thanksgiving song. I hope you guys like it.

It's the Birthday of Jimi Hendrix

Not only is it Thanksgiving, and I hope you all are having a great one, but it is also the birthday of James Marshall Hendrix aka Jimi Hendrix. He was born on November 27, 1942 and he passed away on September 18, 1970.

He was only on this earth for 28 years, and when you consider what he could do with a guitar, you might wonder if he was really of this earth. I think that a great place to start with his music are the following CDs.

One song everyone likes, but nobody knows

There's always that one song from that one band that you really like whether you know who they are or aren't. For me Stacy's Mom was one of those songs. Before then I never knew who Fountains of Wayne were and to this very day I don't really know who they are, but for some reason I really liked that song.

Esential Music: Ella Fitzgerald

There is something so elsential about Ella Fitzgerald and her music. I like to turn as many people on to her as I possible can. Her delevery, diction, power, and mastery of music is something that any fan of music needs to consider.

Ella sings "Georgia on My Mind" Sweden 1963
