Grinderman 2 (2010)

The group, made up of Nick Cave, Warren Ellis, Martyn Casey and Jim Sclavunos

Metacritic Score of 86

Guardian
Grinderman 2 continues the animal theme; this time, the cover star is a lone wolf, let loose in a marble bathroom. Which suits the change in mood, the priapic desperation of the first album having been supplanted by ravenous malevolence. "Kitchenette" offers seduction with a side order of threat ("I'll stick my fingers in your biscuit jar and crush all your gingerbread men"),

The Pierce sisters were born two years apart in Birmingham, Alabama. They traveled frequently and received home-schooling from their self-described hippie parents. Their father played the guitar in various bands, while their mother was a painter. Exposed to music and arts at an early age, the Pierce sisters grew up listening to Joni Mitchell and Simon & Garfunkel.

Exquisite harmonies.
