Nat "King" Cole was born on March 17, 1919 and he passed away on February 15, 1965 was a leading jazz pianist and singer.



According to Wikipedia;
He was one of the first black Americans to host a television variety show, and has maintained worldwide popularity since his death; he is widely considered one of the most important musical personalities in United States history.

Unforgettable



Oh go on - smile! This has to be one of the most liquid, languorous songs ever. It is one of those songs you just unconsciously sing along to - in my respect out loud. I have to do that or be left with it in my mind all day.

(On a more sombre note Nat died in 1965 when Natalie must have been only 14-15. One of my sisters-in-law recently died of lung cancer through smoking so I relate. )

You would think with a pretentious title like that, I better be able to deliver the goods. Well I like many of the mp3 albums on this list, and will go so far as to say that I even love some of them.

Love is a strong word, but that is what this list of albums is all about. I thought with Valentines day coming up that it would be nice to post some romantic music.
