The packaging suggests some long-lost artefact from the hippie era, which, in a way, is exactly what Live From Madison Square Garden represents, with its emphasis on the primacy of instrumental virtuosity and the "super-session" formula.

However I like it!

I hadn't thought much of the Eagles, but whilst staying with a friend in London in the 1970's we saw them at Olympia. These guys were totally into the rock superstar trip - limos, girls on each arem. The most important thing was they blew the stadium - particularly with Joe.
