Clay Aiken (born Clayton Holmes Grissom on November 30, 1978) is an American pop singer who began his rise to fame on the second season of the television program American Idol in 2003. Based on album sales surpassed only by Idol winners Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood, Aiken has become the most successful male and the most successful runner-up in that show's history.
Following his 2006 RIAA Gold-certified record, See the Morning, Chris Tomlin's fifth studio release, Hello Love, communicates what he describes as the "need to introduce ourselves to love again." Produced by Ed Cash (Steven Curtis Chapman, Amy Grant, Bebo Norman), the record endeavors to give voice to the Church to worship their Creator.
CD Discription - The proof can be found in Greatest Hits, Volume 1, a compliation that comes as close to bottling magic as it's possible to get. The CD brings together the best of the first four of Rascal Flatts' five studio albums, and its 13 cuts--7 of them #1 singles--bring into clear focus the path Gary LeVox, Jay DeMarcus and Joe Don Rooney have taken to the top. Even as Greatest Hits, Volume 1 catalogs the first part of their journey, Rascal Flatts continues to make music that thrills fans in arena after arena and continues to bring to the airwaves one of country's most distinctive and well-loved sounds.
I know Adam Sandler isn't really a Musician, but he is a really good Comedian and I thought since it was Thanksgiving I should put up a Thanksgiving song. So here's Adam Sandler's Thanksgiving song. I hope you guys like it.
Not only is it Thanksgiving, and I hope you all are having a great one, but it is also the birthday of James Marshall Hendrix aka Jimi Hendrix. He was born on November 27, 1942 and he passed away on September 18, 1970.
He was only on this earth for 28 years, and when you consider what he could do with a guitar, you might wonder if he was really of this earth. I think that a great place to start with his music are the following CDs.
There's always that one song from that one band that you really like whether you know who they are or aren't. For me Stacy's Mom was one of those songs. Before then I never knew who Fountains of Wayne were and to this very day I don't really know who they are, but for some reason I really liked that song.
There is something so elsential about Ella Fitzgerald and her music. I like to turn as many people on to her as I possible can. Her delevery, diction, power, and mastery of music is something that any fan of music needs to consider.
This is one of those songs, that helps me get through the hard times.
Multiple Stellar Award-winner, Grammy-nominee, and perennial gospel music favorite, Marvin Sapp, has succeeded in establishing himself as one of the most recognizable voices in gospel music. Sapp declared himself "not a singer who can preach, but rather a preacher who just happens to sing," and he does both with the case of Thirsty. For Thirsty, Sapp teamed up with producers Aaron Lindsey, Myron Butler, his choir Levi, and New Breed. The cd was recorded live, before a capacity crowd.
It's been a couple of monthes and to me it just seemed like the Jonas Brothers had dropped off the face of the Earth, but it turns out they were just taking a well deserved rest. They'd never leave us fans hanging(and I guess me and anyone else who thought they would should've known that from the start), so here it is JB's newest Music Video Love Bug.
Is it me or is it time to start considering Christmas music. Tony Bennett is one of those old time hip dudes who puts me in the mood for Christmas music.
He has a new CD out, it seems to be a swinging affair.
2008 album release Swingin' Christmas featuring the Count Basie Big Band. Bennett has 15 Grammy Awards along with the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award (2001).
He is among the most recognized human beings on the planet.' ~Vanity Fair.
One of my favorite Musicians is Jason Mraz. I've always liked him mostly because of his beautiful music and his smooth way with words. I've never seen a guy sing so fast(of course that could just be me) There's actually two songs of his that I really like, but at the moment I can only remember this one. It's called "Wordplay" and you can totally tell that he knows what he's doing.
For some reasong TLC just popped into my head. I really always liked them, and it has been a long time since I heard some of their music. So here goes.

T.I., here delivers his most potent and important LP to date; 'Paper Trail.' Nickelback - Gotta Be Somebody (Lyrics)
Lyrics: This time I wonder what it feels like To find the one in this life The one we all dream of But dreams just aren't enough So I'll be waiting for the real thing I'll know it by the feeling The moment when we're meeting Will play out like a scene straight off the silver screen So I'll be holdin' my breath Right up to the end Until that moment when I find the one that I spend forever with
'Cause nobody wants to be the last one there 'Cause everyone wants to feel like someone cares Someone to love with my life in their hands There's gotta be somebody for me like that
'Cause nobody wants to go it on their own And everyone wants to know they're not alone Somebody else that feels the same somewhere There's gotta be somebody for me out there
Tonight out on the street out in the moonlight And dammit this feels too right It's just like Déjà Vu Me standin' here with you So I'll be holdin' my breath Could this be the end? Is it that moment when I find the one that I spend forever with?
'Cause nobody wants to be the last one there 'Cause everyone wants to feel like someone cares Someone to love with my life in their hands There's gotta be somebody for me like that
'Cause nobody wants to go it on their own And everyone wants to know they're not alone Is there somebody else that feels the same somewhere? There's gotta be somebody for me out there
You can't give up! Lookin' for that diamond in the rough Because you never know when it shows up Make sure you're holdin' on 'Cause it could be the one, the one you're waiting on
'Cause nobody wants to be the last one there And everyone wants to feel like someone cares Someone to love with my life in their hands There has gotta be somebody for me Ohhhhhh
Nobody wants to go it on their own And everyone wants to know they're not alone Is there somebody else that feels the same somewhere? There's gotta be somebody for me out there
'Cause nobody wants to be the last one there And everyone wants to feel like someone cares Is there somebody else that feels the same somewhere? There has gotta be somebody for me out there.
I have wanted to post something about Darius Rucker for a while now. I was surprised to learn that he is the first African American to have a hit on the country charts since Charley Pride.
As the front man of Hootie & The Blowfish, Darius Rucker has already experienced success - earning 2 Grammy awards and selling over 25 million albums worldwide. Now, embracing his country roots and a music he has always wanted to make, Darius is attracting the attention of country fans who are discovering his voice for the first time, and rewarding Hootie fans with new music featuring one of the most unique voices across any genre of music. Featuring his debut country single, "Don't Think I Don't Think About It", Learn to Live features 12 undeniable country hits and a voice that is unarguably Darius Rucker. "I have always written country songs...for me, this is really just part of the natural evolution of my career. I plan to be doing this for a long time. This isn't a one album deal - it's a career thing," explains Rucker.

Everybody and I do mean everybody is blogging about Sam Cooke's song "A Change is Gong to Come". Check out all the music blogs that have posted Same Cooke mp3s at Elbow.ws and at Hype Machine. I even posted Seals new version myself, check it out below.
Kim's laptop is on the fritz, so I have been doing most of the post lately. But I did get an email from the repair shop and she should be back online soon.
Until then, you guys will have to put up with me and some of my old school musical choices. But I will say that I have been trying hard to learn as much as I can about new music and the stuff that Kim likes. That is the fun for a guy like me who is in his late fortys and who is kind of set in his ways.
Adele is a new artist that I really like. I like her voice and her diction, like many Britsh people her accent is so cool.
According to Wikipedia
Adele Laurie Blue Adkins (born 5 May 1988 in Enfield, North London), known professionally as Adele, is an English-Welsh singer. Adele has described her musical style as "heartbroken soul". She is the first recipient of the BRIT Awards Critics' Choice, which was given to artists who, at the time, had yet to release an album. She has noted American jazz and blues singers Etta James and Ella Fitzgerald as influences. She debuted at number one with her Mercury Prize-nominated debut album (19) on the UK album chart; the disc has since been certified platinum with sales of more than 500,000 copies.
David Ryan Adams (born November 5, 1974) is an American alt-country/rock singer-songwriter from Jacksonville, North Carolina. Raised by his mother and grandmother, Adams dropped out of school at age 16 and performed with several local bands before moving to Raleigh and forming the band Whiskeytown. Three albums and five years later, Adams went solo, releasing Heartbreaker in 2000. A longtime resident of New York City, Adams is probably best known for his song "New York, New York", which appeared on his 2001 release Gold. He has since released four more solo albums and three albums with his backing band, The Cardinals. His latest release, Cardinology, was released on October 28, 2008.
