Malian Music

Oumou Sangaré is considered an ambassador of Wassoulou; her music has been inspired by the music and traditional dances of the region. She writes and composes her songs, which forcefully support social criticism, especially concerning the place of women and their low position in society.

There is a 2009 album Seya or a more popular 2003 album Oumou
I like the feeling generated by the voices and unfamiliar instruments - it just seems like they are having fun.
