Hip Hop Blues

Like Ron I don't really get all the labels that are used in music. I often read and hear people using and misusing labels. Having said that, I do understand the need to be able to name a thing. And I think some labels are descriptive and help us understand what the music is about.

I posted a video to my blues blog about Hip Hop Blues. Well you can guess that I got an earful from blues fans who hate Hip Hop. Which to me is kind of silly because the same people who hate Hip Hop are probably the grand-children of people who hated blues music before it became cool to like blues.

I think the the label Hip Hop Blues fits this video to a tee.
